Arneis is a grape variety typical of Roero (northwest of Alba: area around Cuneo, Canale). Only the communes of this terroir have been entitled to this DOCG appellation - the highest distinction for Italian wines - since a 2004 decree. The Bosio family has been producing a whole range of wines from the Langhe terroir for 3 generations. Today, son Luca is the in-house oenologist and offers this Roero Arneis from the Passato series.
