SCHOENENBOURG (La Belle Côte) is one of the most prestigious vineyard sites in Alsace. This exceptional hillside dominates RIQUEWIHR to the north and stretches from west to east at an altitude ranging from 280 m to 380 m. Its south-facing aspect, siliceous and marly soil, and clay-limestone subsoil, rich in fertilizing elements, make it an excellent RIESLING soil.
