In this vintage, what makes the difference is the freshness that only great wines can retain. The Merlot grape gives a very pleasant velvety texture, enhanced by crisp, spicy tannins. A great success that has not escaped the notice of the greatest oenologists and critics, for a price-quality-pleasure ratio that is virtually unbeatable in the Bordeaux region. A foretaste of Pétrus (at a small price), and Parker said so!

I've never tasted Pétrus, so it's hard to make a comparison, but I really liked a Bordeaux at that price. And my husband now offers it to his friends.

Little known among Bordeaux wines, and despite its small surface area, this Cotes-de-Francs deserves to be discovered. Dominant notes of ripe cherries and spice, it leaves a lovely, straightforward length on the palate, finishing with a hint of liquorice. To be discovered without reserve.
