The vineyard is planted on a steep, south-facing, cirque-shaped hillside. It benefits from exceptional sunshine and high temperatures, allowing the grapes to ripen completely. This wine is composed of 70% MERLOT, 25% CABERNET SAUVIGNON and 5% CABERNET FRANC. Aged for 9 months in barrels and vats.
Bernard Magrez is a key name in the Bordeaux region, and Château Florestan is one of the finest vintages of recent years.
