All we can tell you is that this is a recognized Cru Bourgeois from the Haut-Médoc, with aromas of finely-wooded red fruits, good structure and good length. The vineyards are bordered by prestigious Châteaux. Just between us! For the record, without belonging to the prestigious crus classés (aristocratic) family, crus bourgeois occupy a special place in the vast range of Médoc wines. According to Jacques Dupont (Le Point), this denomination is considered a true guarantee of quality and one of the few truly comprehensible benchmarks.
The palate has good body, a dense core of tannins with elegant roasted fruit and a long, persistent finish.

On the nose, the wine is dominated by black fruits (blackberry/blackcurrant). Spicy notes due to barrel ageing, good balance and good length on the palate. A good wine for the table, but not overpowering, which goes well with red meat.
