This wine comes from 7 hectares of vines in Lalande De Pomerol. The 2016 vintage was a sunny year with good ripeness (a great vintage in Bordeaux). "Many crosses can be found in this region of Bordeaux, which was a stopover for pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela. According to its name, this cross must have been located near some old oak trees." (Guide Hachette)

The red fruit is very present, which is ideal for red meat. For us, it was a good piece of beef with some pommes grenailles.
