    In a few words ...

the communes of pessac belong to the large gravel production area. The poor, gravelly soil nurtures very delicate, full-bodied, fruity wines.

the 1981 vintage is a little-known vintage, as it was austere at the outset. It has evolved favorably and can still offer good bottles.

It's a vintage that's a little underrated, as it was austere at the outset.

You can feel the Sauvignon, the round, supple texture and the salty, toasty, white-fleshed fruit aromas. I enjoyed half a bottle with a platter of oysters, which may not have been the best match, but it was great fun!
