The second wine of Château Rouget, Le Carillon de Rouget is made from a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats, followed by 14 months of barrel ageing. From a clay terroir in the Pomerol appellation, this wine is distinguished by its roundness and gourmet character. Red and black fruit aromas, well-melted tannins and a velvety red color make Le Carillon de Rouget an exceptional wine. It goes very well with beef, but can also be enjoyed with any meat in sauce.
