The second wine of a Grand Cru Classé, this more-than-pleasant Grand Cru is a sure bet whose best vintages will improve with age. Its ruby-red color deepens with age. On the nose, it's powerful, toasty, with well-presented red fruit. On the palate, it's highly expressive, with intense aromas of black cherry, blackcurrant and raspberry, a lovely roundness and woody notes. Generous length on the palate, with a fresh finish.
