In a few words ...
We are delighted to be able to illustrate the role of terroir in Burgundy, in one of the most prestigious villages for its great white wines, with our two Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru parcel cuvées, whose distinctly different characters are a faithful reflection of the singular terroirs from which they come.
Undoubtedly an exceptional wine and one of our finest whites of 2018.
Tasting notes
Appearance
Pale yellow-gold color
Aroma
discreet nose of chestnuts and marron glacé, beeswax, cookie and dragée, gradually developing into yellow fruit, pollen and white flower notes (daisy, wild rose), cereals and harvest. Hints of vanilla and marzipan follow. Aromatic expression builds to exceptional complexity. These are now refreshing, sweet citrus scents: bergamot and candied mandarin with a hint of jasmine.

Taste
On the palate, after a very round, deep attack, tension and minerality appear, with a hint of flint. The wine is supported by lovely acidity, ending with a slight saline sensation. A few aniseed and slightly toasted touches complete the finish.
