In a few words ...
Nuits-Saint-Georges, the village where we're headquartered, means a lot to us. As the "southern" gateway to the great villages of the Côte de Nuits, Nuits produces wines of great diversity. Indeed, the terroirs to the north of the village, near Vosne-Romanée, are made up of deeper, clayey soils. The wines produced are both generous and structured. The terroirs to the south of the village are very stony, as evidenced by the numerous quarries. The wines are mineral, lively and straightforward. A good Nuits-Saint-Georges must integrate this duality, which gives it a unique character and great ageing potential. Hand-picked, bunches sorted to keep only the finest grapes. De-stemmed and placed in vats. Fermentation starts naturally with indigenous yeasts. The cuvée is aged in barrel for 15 to 18 months (30% in new barrels).

The color is of medium intensity.
Aroma
The nose is open, with liquorice aromas typical of Nuits-Saint-Georges.

Taste
On the palate, fruity notes (fruit coulis, cherry pit), perfect ripeness, supported by light acidity and tannins typical of Nuits. The finish is almost saline, stony.
