In a few words ...

Located in vinzelles in the mâconnais region, domaine de la soufrandière was acquired by jules bret in 1947. In 2000, brothers jean-philippe and jean-guillaume bret, also known as the bret brothers, took over management and converted directly to organic viticulture, followed by biodynamic viticulture in 2006. All their wines are Mâconnais whites, with 96% Chardonnay and 4% Aligoté. Gamay is marketed under the negociant bret brothers label. The size of the estate is now around 11.5 hectares, around vergisson, pouilly-vinzelles and saint-véran. The wines are matured in barrels several years old or in concrete vats. Carbonic maceration is used for the Chardonnay la Carbonnode, and sulfur is dispensed with altogether for the Zen range. The brothers' meticulous attention to detail over the last 20 years has made this estate one of the best and most highly-rated in the Mâcon region. Allergene:enthält schwefel
