Domaine de villaine - rully 1er cru - les champs cloux 2019the domaine de villaine is located in bouzeron, north of the côte-chalonnaise in burgundy. The domaine was purchased by aubert and pamela de villaine in 1971, and has been managed since 2001 by their nephew, pierre de benoist. Organic farming methods have been applied to the vineyard since 1986. The domaine owns several climats in the communes of bouzeron, rully, mercurey and santenay, planted with aligot, chardonnay and pinot noir.les champs cloux is a rully premier cru whose pinot noir grapes have been vinified in wooden vats for 14 days and then leavened into five wines. This is a wine with an almost rustic expression in its youth, which will attain aromatic finesse and density with age.cépage : 100% pinot noir

Légèrement réservé au nez, ce vin se dévoile petit à petit avec des arômes de fruits noirs et rouges comme le cassis, la groseille ou la framboise et de fleurs printanières telles que le cerisier ou le lilas.

On the palate, it's structured, offering beautiful, intense volumes, with a chewiness reminiscent of the fruity nose. The tannins remain discreet. This is a wine with an almost rustic expression in its youth, but with age it will attain a finesse and density that will make it a real pleasure to drink.
