I must admit to being a little disappointed by this Champagne. I'm a bit perturbed because I'd heard so much about its merits and quality. However, I opened it as an aperitif on the evening of the 24th and (perhaps it's the altitude or the transport? but it's never happened to me before...) the bubbles were far too present, bordering on sparkling. Otherwise, the aromas were pleasant and made for a nice introduction!
