Taittinger Demi Sec is made from the same blend as Brut Réserve (40% Chardonnay and 60% Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier). Some 40 different crus from several perfectly matured harvests go into its composition. The wine is kept on lath for three years before being disgorged. It is then blended with 35g/l cane sugar. This dosage, which sets it apart from Brut Réserve, gives it a particular sweetness that makes it ideal for pairing with certain sweet dishes, especially desserts.

Appearance
Brilliant, golden straw-yellow color. Fine bubbles. The mousse is abundant and persistent.
Aroma
The nose gives off delicate aromas of honey and ripe fruit, with hints of Reine Claude and elderflower.

Taste
The attack on the palate is lively, tangy and suave, with a predominance of citrus fruit, but also peaches in syrup and dried figs. The finish is infinitely supple, full-bodied and long.
