In a few words ...
The idea behind Grand Siècle is based on an observation: nature will probably never give us the perfect oenological year, but the art of blending can enable us to recreate it. Grand Siècle is not vintage, but numbered for each iteration, and is made from a selection of 3 exceptional years (2007, 2006 and 2004) from 11 of Champagne's only 17 Grands Crus, and a blend of a majority of Chardonnay plus Pinot Noir, aged for over 10 years in our cellars.

Tasting notes
Appearance
A sparkling, spring-yellow color and a fine effervescence that feeds a delicate, persistent string of bubbles.
Aroma
An intense, complex nose of lightly candied citrus fruit. Then aromas of pastries, toasted almonds with subtle notes of honey and gingerbread. Hints of white flowers follow.

The wine offers a fresh, aromatic attack with citrus notes. The finish is persistent, with Grand Siècle offering a perfect balance between tension and depth.
