Geographical location: A vineyard in eastern France, located in the Franche-Comté region between Burgundy and Switzerland. Jura is renowned for its white wines. Soil: Blue, black and red marl, with hillsides backing onto the limestone plateau. Vinification: Grapes arrive either in 40 kg crates or mechanically harvested. Static settling at low temperature, yeasting and fermentation at low temperature, racking and sulfiting. Blending, fining, filtration and bottling.
