In a few words ...
A sweet wine made exclusively from the Grenache Noir grape muté sur saigné de cuve, meaning that the fresh, optimally ripe grapes are topped up with alcohol right at the start of fermentation to promote maceration and extract the best fruitiness from the grapes while maintaining a naturally high sugar content, hence the name : Vin Doux Naturel or VDN. Drink as an aperitif, with red fruit desserts... And just as you like it, but always in moderation! Bottled on the estate by Mireille and Pierre Mann at MAS DES CAPRICES in Leucate, Aude.
