Les Vins de CaroleEstimated delivery between 4 and Apr 5,
A local grape variety that is often forgotten or overlooked, Mourvèdre produces superb results. This is perhaps "THE" discovery of the Les Jamelles collection. Everything about this wine recalls the Mediterranean and the scents of sun-drenched garrigue.
Appearance
Intense red color with purple undertones.
Aroma
The first taste is very fruity, with scents of strawberry, peach and currant. It has spicy "garrigue" scents: almond paste, honey, lavender, thyme and bay leaf, as well as a note of roasted meat.

Taste
On the palate, it's surprisingly long and fat, with well-balanced tannin. The almost sweet finish gives an impression of softness and velvet. Lots of character.
