Le Petit Derna
2015 | Vin de Pays de Cucugnan | Rouge | 75cl

Planted by the Greeks and cultivated by the Romans, there are vineyards across the whole Languedoc-Rousillon region. The most interesting wines are to be found on the hillsides. Languedoc covers 42,800 ha and produces rounded, balanced wines, while Roussillon is best known for its fine traditional wines: floral, delicate whites yielded by the mild climate and the warm, dry environment. The famous Languedoc-Roussillon reds – which alone account for 85% of the region's production – will take you on a voyage of flavours. Scent of violets, hints of sun-ripened red fruits... blackcurrant, strawberry, cherry... you can almost hear the chirping of the crickets from here, can't you?
