In a few words ...
Labeled AB, this 3rd vintage of IBIS ROUGE is a light, no-nonsense beverage, fresh and thirst-quenching, centered on a bouquet of red fruits with definite drinkability. It responds to its alter-ego, Ibis Blanc, by bringing together 3 grape varieties. Emblematic and historic Languedoc grape varieties, "cursed" until recently but on the way to regaining their letters of nobility, Carignan and Aramon, complemented by Cinsault from old vines over 50 years old with very moderate yields. This cuvée is made without added sulfite.

Appearance
Luminous soft red with purplish highlights.
Aroma
On the nose, a basket of red raspberry, strawberry and redcurrant fruits with deeper notes of blackcurrant and pepper.

Taste
The attack on the palate is sapid, followed by lightness and freshness, with notes reminiscent of the nose and a few spices that make you salivate. The medium finish is soft, without aggressive tannins.

Super wine, full of flavour. Very good length on the palate. Very pleasant surprise. Tasted in September 2023, it's still excellent.
