Mas RapatelEstimated delivery between 24 and Apr 25,
Gérard Eyraud, from Domaine de Rapatel, is fond of word games and rebus. With Le Petit Journal de Rapatel, he has written a fine article on press wine. When fermentation is complete and the wine is racked for ageing, the grape marc remains in the vat. It is by pressing this marc that Gérard Eyraud obtains this vin de presse. It is made from all the estate's red grapes, and reflects all the specific characteristics of this Costières de Nîmes estate: deliciousness, maturity, sensuality, notes of honey... Apparently simple, its high concentration of very ripe grapes makes it a sophisticated wine that's perfect for an aperitif with friends. It is also capable of supporting spicy dishes such as tajines, couscous, lamb curries...
The second pressing of the estate's 7 grape varieties: grenache, syrah, carignan, mourvedre, merlot, cabernet franc and chassan. A gourmet cuvée, full-bodied and powerful, just like Gérard. Many compare it to a Châteauneuf-du-Pape, but this is the Camargue.
