In the heart of the Langhe hills, father and son Rino & Andrea Sottimano craft authentic, sincere, fleshy wines from the finest Barbaresco terroirs, which will age like the great Burgundies so admired by these endearing winemakers. Aged 24 months in barrels, with only 15% new barrels, no fining or filtration. This wine is made from vines aged 55 to 75 years, located in the Currá cru, in the Neive area. The plot covers 2.80 hectares, with a south-western exposure and very clayey soil. This wine is marketed a year later than the other crus, as the estate considers that it needs more time in bottle to find its balance.
