Overcast garnet red with delicate brick-red highlights towards the rim. fausoni barbaresco 2014 is multi-faceted and stimulatingly fresh on the nose, reminiscent of rocks and minerals. With the requisite oxygen contact, bewitching fruity notes of dark berry, black currant, black cherry and plum purée emerge. Earthy notes of truffle and dark chocolate linger in the background for the moment, but will emerge more strongly with the necessary maturity. A wine full of tension and promise, this is already apparent on the nose. we eagerly take the fausoni barbaresco 2014 on the tongue, where it begins with a fresh, mineral structure. The acidity and tannins are still young and demanding. A wine with bite and complexity, which requires the taster to be a little patient for now, but which will show its greatness in a few years, for sure. If you want to enjoy it already in its youth, you'll do well to pair it with strong cuisine and concentrated sauces. christina hilker's tasting note of 13.03.2017, copyright christina hilker allergene:enthält schwefel
