The winemaker

Between Florence and Pisa, just north of the Chianti Montalbano area, this small field led by Marco Filippello offers frank and healthy wines, fruit, biodynamic products, including an amazing dry white malvasia. In the Montalbano area, where the genius Leonardo Da Vinci was born in the far north of Chianti, lies the domain Poggiosecco, led by Marco Filippello. Between limestone and sandstone of the hills of Cerreto Guidi and Vinci, the land is devoted to viticulture and wine production uncompromised. Poggiosecco was founded in 1967 and is certified organic since 2004 and biodynamic cultivation since 2009. Poggiosecco is one of the founders of Biodinamici Toscani, a group of vineyards which brings together producers of the province of Florence who chose to cultivate their vineyards according modern biodynamic system. Their logo is a symbol of quality and guarantee for the consumer. The products wines represent the authenticity and quality. They are produced solely from our vineyards and harvested exclusively by hand with methods and natural products, according to the techniques of organic farming. Nature, pure and alive, the Poggiosecco wines are an expression of Tuscany most authentic and its "grapes" typical.
