"A legendary Champagne house"
Private sale Duntze
Cuvées that reflect the great terroirs of Champagne
Created in 1913, the Champagne house is brilliantly revived by Victor Duntze (4th generation) and today produces harmonious wines, authentic and extremely promising.
In the 19th century, many Germans came in France to bring their managerial, accounting and commercial expertise to young Champagne houses. Names like Taittinger, Krug, Bollinger or Deutz begin to make themselves known at this time. Friedrich Duntze (1856-1944) was part of this wave.
"Most operators make wines from terroirs blends, we decided to separate them, so each wine has its own specificities." - Victor Duntze
"Blindly tasted, its champagnes stood out as harmonious wines (...) The authenticity is preserved by a right elaboration, which does not add anything superfluous." - Le monde
