Château des Coccinelles • Côtes-du-Rhône

The Fabre family has been producing wine at Château des Coccinelles since 1928 and obtained organic certification in the 1970s.
 
Today, Château des Coccinelles covers 80 hectares of vines around the Signargues plateau, a terroir of excellence with a rich geological history.
 
The terroir, facing south/south-east, is swept by the Mistral 200 days a year and lies on clay-limestone soils covered with rolled pebbles. The clay which marks the soil at depth allows the vines to retain water and to be well hydrated, an essential element to ensure the balance and finesse of the wines.
 
The wines are produced under the appellations Côtes du Rhônes and Signargues. As for the grape varieties, we find Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah for the black grape varieties; for the white grape varieties, we find white Grenache and Roussanne.
