"Pure elegance"
Clos Triguedina • Cahors
"A beautiful substance, ample, consistent and suave, tightened by a beautiful freshness that gives it relief and length. Pure elegance" (Guide Hachette about Malbec du Clos 2017, "coup de cœur" of the guide).
"All the wines in its range had a "coup de cœur" (Guide Hachette)
"This historic wine estate holds its own as a leader and driving force in the appellation." (La RVF)
"The specialist and ambassador of the Malbec grape." (Le Figaro)
Nicknamed the "Master of Malbec", Jean-Luc Baldès, the 7th generation at the head of the wine estate, is a winemaker who bears the colors of his region in the French South-West. He alone embodies the progress made in the Cahors appellation, to reach today an absolutely remarkable finesse.
Created in 1830, Clos Triguedina is today one of the great wine estates of reference in Cahors. Its wines can be found in the most beautiful cellars, in particular that of the Élysée Palace (it has been the supplier for more than 30 years).
