The winemaker

The estate is traditionally planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, on a homogeneous clay-limestone soil. Although situated in the higher parts of the appellation, it benefits greatly from the oceanic climate. All viticulture is carried out in a sustainable manner. Château d'Argan is an AOC Médoc red matured in the purest tradition. A Cru Bourgeois, it benefits greatly from the rigorous expertise of the parent company to which it belongs. A beautiful ruby-red color, it presents a rich aromatic palette where blackberry and blackcurrant dominate a discreet woodiness. On the palate, the tannins express themselves frankly, with good length and a surprisingly light finish.
