Divino Mundi à ChillyEstimated delivery between 11 and Dec 13,
The Florentine painter fra-angélico (1400-1455) inspired the name of this flagship rosé cuvée. The estate's unique terroir, the blend of tibouren and mourvèdre with traditional grenache, and the talent of the winemaker make this côtes de provence - fréjus a benchmark. A magnificent 2024 that will delight you all year round. 54% grenache, 22% mourvèdre, 24% tibouren. 25-hectare vineyard in the commune of fréjus on the côte d'azur, halfway between saint-tropez and cannes. Located at the eastern end of the Côtes de Provence appellation, the vineyard is rooted in soils derived from the degradation of the Estérel massif, a volcano over 250 million years old. These soils are sandy-clay, poor in organic matter. The proximity of the Mediterranean Sea and the mountainous terrain help generate an almost constant wind regime, with winds alternating between the 4 cardinal points. This ventilation softens the sometimes excessive summer temperatures and prevents spring frosts. The Tibourens and Grenaches are lightly macerated for 1 to 2 hours before pressing, while the Mourvèdres are pressed directly. Aged on fine lees for 4 months. Drink within 3 years.
