A rare terroir of red clay for a soft, supple Madiran. Our work to identify and select the different terroirs of Madiran has enabled us to highlight the quality and uniqueness of a parcel located at the far end of the Château Bouscassé vineyard. This terroir of red clay, very rare in the South-West, saw the first vines planted at high density (7500 vines/ha) 40 years ago. The result is a fine, supple wine with discreet tannins that will delight lovers of subtle, elegant wines.

very good Madiran... a dark, tannic wine with finesse. On the nose, notes of blood orange, peach compote, spicy, very good length on the palate, no flaws, very pleasant to drink with good acidity and lots of character. A bottle offering excellent value for money.
