In 1814, the Russians were in Paris. They weren't allowed to drink in inns. Despite the ban, they were served fine (vodka) in a hurry, which in Russian is called a bistro. Thus was born the word bistro. A very elegant, floral vodka, with finesse and freshness, made from high-quality French wheat alcohol.
