A racy wine. The site: halfway between Chambertin and Musigny, and yet less well known. The vineyard extends over two communes: Morey and Chambolle. The parcel owned by Joseph Drouhin is located in Chambolle. History & tradition: legend has it that a ploughman discovered a sculpture in the ground representing the three goddesses of fertility, known as the "Good Mothers". The name was later changed to "Bonnes-Mares".

The color is an intense, luminous ruby red.
Aroma
Complex aromas evoke morello cherry, cherry wood and raspberry, with discreet touches of tobacco. With age, it reveals notes of truffle and musk.
