In a few words ...
In the glass, a ruby-red color with slight violet nuances. The nose is marked by aromas of red fruits, underlined by the spices typical of Cabernet Sauvignon. On the palate, the wine is fresh and full-bodied, with ripe fruit. There are nuances of blackcurrant, raspberry, licorice and spice. The tannins are very soft and well integrated into the wine. Delicious! The vines for this wine are located in two different regions of Languedoc, in order to best combine their respective advantages. One part is grown in the Hérault plain near Béziers, on deep soils and in a very warm climate, where full fruit notes dominate the wines. The other part grows in the heights of the corbičres on limestone soils that give this cabernet its structure and delicate freshness. Yields are around 70 hl/ha. Depending on the degree of ripeness of the grapes, they are harvested either by hand or by machine. Vinification is traditional, with the grapes destemmed and fermented under strict temperature control. Overflow is used to extract large quantities of colorants and aromas from the berry skins. domaines saint auriol was only created in 1995, based on the ideas of claude vialade, to market wines from their own vineyards and from contract vineyards, in compliance with certain quality criteria. The wines of saint auriol are the result of a deep understanding of the languedoc-roussillon and its wine-growing regions, a thorough knowledge of viticulture and constant tasting. Wines from the family estates are vinified, matured and bottled on site. Wines from associated estates are carefully selected after being produced and bottled at these estates under the supervision of saint auriol oenologists. Allergene:enthält sulfite
