Nose: intense and complex, with aromas of ripe red fruits (cherry, raspberry), black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant), as well as hints of garrigue, aromatic herbs (thyme, rosemary), and spicy touches (black pepper, licorice). Palate: generous and well-structured. Tannins are supple and well-integrated, with a lovely freshness. Red and black fruit aromas are combined with spicy notes and a hint of minerality. The finish is long and balanced. Terroir: Clay-limestone soils with rolled pebbles, typical of Cairanne terroirs. These soils give good concentration to the grapes. Climate: Mediterranean, with hot, dry summers, favoring optimal ripening of the grape varieties. Vinification: fermentation in concrete vats, with long maceration to extract maximum aromas and tannins. Aging: 18 months in concrete vats to preserve the wine's fruitiness and freshness. Food pairing: perfect with grilled red meats, sauced dishes (daube provençale, lamb), charcuterie and soft or mature cheeses.

An expressive, well-structured Cairanne, with notes of black fruit, spices and garrigue. Generous on the palate, supported by supple tannins and good length. A typical southern wine, elegant and authentic.

The appellation Cairanne is part of the region of Vallée du Rhône from France which include Domaine du Trapadis and its 5 cuvées. Spread over The Rhone Valley and its rich, complex terroirs. The region is divided into two distinct subregions: Northern Rhone (known as Rhône Septentrional) and Southern Rhone (Rhône Méridional). In the former we find strong wines in beautiful colours with warm, spicy notes, produced by vineyards that stretch 4,700 ha along the Rhone. The latter, with an area of 71,000 ha, is much more important, and this is evident of course in its annual production of red, rosé and white wines quite unlike those of the Northern Rhone., this region is 3 million hectolitres per year of red wines, rosés, dry and sparkling white wines, and natural sweet wine..
