This savennières, named after the former château de chamboureau bought by philippe fournier, is a fine expression of the chenin grape variety, which reigns as a white wine in anjou and saumurois. A fine cuvée for laying down, to accompany elaborate cuisine. this 2016 vintage will be fully appreciated in one or two years: lemon-yellow color with golden-green highlights, mineral nose, with notes of schist, ripe lemon and exotic fruit. The attack is powerful and the finish, long and mineral, again reveals lovely exotic notes, characteristic of this exceptional vintage. Best decanted. 100% chenin. Average age of 20 years. Schist terroirs. Aged on lees for 10 months, then in wooden vats for 6 to 7 months. Kept for around ten years.

Luminous gold color with green highlights. The wine is rich and fat in appearance.

On the nose, the finesse and minerality of the aromatic structure are evident, with notes of peach, pear, citrus, dried flowers and floral honey.
