On décèle au nez des senteurs de minéral, de terre et de fumé, marquées en arrière-plan de prune noire et de cassis.
Taste
Le 1986 est tenu par ses abondants tannins. L'attaque en bouche est riche, moyennement corsée et élégante, et la finale abondamment tannique.
