The Château des Eyrins terroir enjoys an exceptional location in the heart of the Margaux appellation. Hand-picking is delayed as much as possible, and vinification is low-intervention, to respect the grapes. 2018 is an extraordinary vintage at the estate: the result is a wine that is quite strongly colored, dense and sappy, but compact in its youth and which deserves a few years to relax and deliver all its finesse and balance. 70% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot. Gravel terroir. Aged in oak barrels for 18 months, half in new barrels. Aged for 20 years.
