Those looking for geological signs might aßociate the iron- and manganese-rich characteristic of moulin-a-vent in general with the rich beef and stickiness that underpins this carquelin and provides a dynamic, but by no means jarring, counterpoint to the well-focused red fruit wines. As with the corresponding champs de cour, the tannins are very fine and in the background, and the texture is almost silky. The lanolin and brown spice notes from the barrel are discreet and well integrated. This wine should be worth following for half a dozen years or more. Allergene:enthält sulfite
