This wine is made from a classic blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, all of which contribute to its elegant structure and aromatic richness. On tasting, it reveals an intense ruby color and a refined nose combining notes of ripe black fruit (blackcurrant, plum), cedar, vanilla and truffle. On the palate, the attack is powerful, with velvety tannins and a long finish marked by spicy, woody aromas. This prestigious wine is the perfect accompaniment to refined dishes such as red meats, game and stews. Details: appellation: saint-estèphe aoc grape varieties: 50% merlot, 40% cabernet sauvignon, 10% cabernet franc terroir: gravelly and clay-limestone soils, typical of saint-estèphe, favor optimal ripening of the grapes. Vinification: traditional fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to preserve aromas. Aging: in French oak barrels, some of which are new, for 12 to 18 months, adding woody notes and complexity. Château la croix marbuzet is the perfect accompaniment to red meats, game in sauce, grilled lamb chops and mature cheeses. It's also a perfect match for traditional dishes like boeuf bourguignon or daube provençale. Serving temperature: 17-18°c Aging potential: this wine can be kept for 10-15 years to develop even more complex aromas.
