Intense nose of black fruit. A very elegant, harmonious wine, with powerful, very ripe tannins, very pure fruit and good persistence.
"In 2001, Charles Chevallier's team chose to let time take its course and to be patient, following a long vegetative cycle. They were right to do so, as they preserved the richness and aromatic complexity of this wine, which plays on notes of leather, red fruit, licorice, toast and mocha. Ample and powerful, the palate is supported by velvety tannins, delivering a host of flavors and announcing great ageing potential, confirmed by the long finish where the grape expresses itself. Don't be afraid to wait seven or eight years before opening this beautiful bottle".

Appearance
Dense, dark garnet color, drawing on purple in its youth.

The bouquet consists of black and red fruits, roasting, licorice and leather.
