In a few words ...

Chateau laroze covers an area of 7.5 hectares planted with 69% merlot, 25% cabernet franc and 6% cabernet sauvignon.
st emilion wines are fleshy, spicy and often marked by a fruity note. the great king louis xiv dubbed them "the nectar of the gods".
the 1986 vintage was an excellent one with a large crop. The red wines were austere and tannic. The Cabernets were highly colored, with little nose to begin with, and just needed to age.

Tasting notes

Appearance

Ruby hue, with purplish highlights in youth.

Aroma

The red fruit notes are highly concentrated, behind which develop a wide range of aromas, including vanilla and leather from barrel ageing...

Wine Fruity

Taste

The appellation's three main grape varieties blend and complement each other to magnify the whole. Merlot brings fruitiness, while Cabernet Sauvignon gives tannins and Cabernet Franc spicy notes.
