close neighbor of the illustrious château margaux, the château pontac-lynch lies at the heart of the appellation margaux. The estate has been classified cru bourgeois margaux since 1932. Its reputation for excellence continues with this vintage, which concentrates all the qualities of a great and fine bordeaux wine. Made from a blend of four grape varieties, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and, to a lesser extent, Petit Verdot, it combines delicacy with balance.

The wine:

its deep, dark garnet color is tinged with violet highlights. It expresses black cherry and blackberry aromas with spicy notes. Full-bodied and rich, it seduces with its elegant style.

Ageing and food pairing:

you can appreciate its qualities now, or let it develop further over the next five years. Its personality goes perfectly with game birds, roast poultry, rabbit and grilled red meats or with a light sauce. It is excellent with Savoy tomme, Saint-Nectaire and Comté cheeses. It can also accompany a red fruit tart.
