    In a few words ...

A Canon-Fronsac typical of the appellation, with a magnificent deep color. The nose reveals ripe fruit and a hint of spice. At the table, it's an excellent companion to game dishes in sauce, for example, or chocolate desserts. Tasting reveals a rich, powerful wine with roundness.

I had to open two bottles to just discover this wine as the first one was unmistakably corked. And it is a shame because this wine is a rich in aromas of dark fruit, well balanced with smooth tannins. Might be missing a bot in length but at the price, it's a good bottle

great structure, firm tannins and a kind of beast at this point. will definitely benefit from more time in the bottle and i appreciate Fronsac for being standing out from the crowd.

Enjoyed with filet mignon au maroilles on December 24, a very appropriate wine. Decanted for 2 hours. It's perfect but I'm going to keep it in a good cellar for a few more years (5 years) as I see fit. I recommend it.

An excellent Bordeaux wine, everything about it is pleasing: the color, the nose and that lovely attack that expresses the strength but also the subtlety of the aromas.

With its lovely dark color and violet highlights, the tannins remain elegant despite their rich presence. This wine richly deserves the stars it has been awarded.

Canon Fronsac produces hard wines that reach their peak after long cellaring. This 2009 is ready to drink and meets all my expectations! Good pickings!
