    In a few words ...

"Talbot embodies for many the ideal of Saint Julien, generously bouqueted, very stable and reliable with ageing" emphasize Bettane and Desseauve in their Grand Guide des Vins de France J. Suckling: 93-94/100

    Twil The Wine I Love

"Note this year the opulence of the presses, a veritable concentrate of good wine, which will reinforce the great ageing character of the 2015s. A precise vintage in the definition of a great wine, a reflection of its terroir." Château Talbot.

    Tasting notes

    Appearance

Dense, dark garnet color, drawing on purple in its youth.

    Aroma

The nose reveals notes of violet and empyreumatic like wood, roasting, vanilla ... In aging, the wine will reveal very high quality game or truffle aromas.

    Taste

The wines of Saint-Julien are famous for mixing the feminine finesse of Margaux wines with the strength of Pauillac wines. We will find therefore structured tannins with a note of black fruits important that will give an interesting overall balance.

Discreet nose of almond and leather. Still a lot of substance. Quite elegant overall. Magnum version always better.

A rather expensive wine, but well worth a look because it's very good.
