Deep red color. Intense notes of black berries, plums, strawberries and licorice on the palate, powerful yet balanced with fine woody toasty aromas, fine tannins and an enormously long, smooth finish. The vines planted in the 16th century by lord nicolas de blois formed the basis of the estate. In the 17th century, the château and vineyards became the property of maréchal d'ornano, governor of guyenne and mayor of bordeaux. It remained in the hands of gentlemen and noblemen until 1999, when Lorraine Cordier bought the estate and implemented her vision of Médoc wine. She invested a great deal of time and money to make this vineyard one of the best in the Médoc. Today, her sister Nancy runs the estate. Allergene:enthält sulfite
