In a few words ...
Harvested in mid-September in the early morning to preserve berry freshness. Fermentation takes place at low temperature, between 15 and 17°. It is then aged in vats on fine lees to obtain all its roundness and distinctive character.

Appearance
The white Côtes du Rhône has an attractive pale color with golden highlights. On the nose, it develops aromas of fruit with broom and 4-spice. The palate is full and round, with a saline finish.
Aroma
Lots of brightness, on peach, pear and jasmine.

The appellation Côtes-du-Rhône is part of the region of Vallée du Rhône from France which include Domaine Fontaine du clos and its 15 cuvées. Spread over The Rhone Valley and its rich, complex terroirs. The region is divided into two distinct subregions: Northern Rhone (known as Rhône Septentrional) and Southern Rhone (Rhône Méridional). In the former we find strong wines in beautiful colours with warm, spicy notes, produced by vineyards that stretch 4,700 ha along the Rhone. The latter, with an area of 71,000 ha, is much more important, and this is evident of course in its annual production of red, rosé and white wines quite unlike those of the Northern Rhone., this region is 3 million hectolitres per year of red wines, rosés, dry and sparkling white wines, and natural sweet wine..
