The quality of the wines produced by the domaine gille berlioz is proportional to the goldsmith's work carried out by this great artisan winemaker on his 3.5 ha of hillside vines. Horse-drawn ploughing, clawing, digging, disbudding, pruning, all these tasks take on the appearance of Herculean labor in this mountainous setting. Located in the Bauges mountains, near a protected natural area, the estate has been certified organic since 2005 and biodynamic since 2006. It's here that Gilles Berlioz gives life to tasty, juicy Chignin Bergeron with generous pulp. The wines here express all the grandeur and singular character of these great Savoy terroirs. Each year, the quantities produced are confidential... in 2016, gilles berlioz decided to rename the domaine: domaine partagé. Here's further proof of the humility of this great winemaker and the collective strength that surrounds the domaine!...el-hem... the emblematic cuvée of the domaine berlioz, thanks to which roussette de savoie has been given a new lease of life. Altesse (the grape variety) has an elegant, pale-gold color, iridescent with green highlights. As soon as you approach the nose, you're surprised by a whirlwind of aromas: yellow fruit, candied citrus, hawthorn, spices and flint! On the palate, after a fresh, clean attack, this great Savoy wine benefits from an uncommon minerality that, far from dulling its expression, gives it a precise structure. The finish lingers, chiseled by the tension typical of this grape variety. This is a masterpiece of craftsmanship, which will delight you if you're a Savoy wine lover, or if you're looking for a surprise!
