The field SCHWACH is a family business for three generations Hunawhir located in Alsace in one of the most beautiful villages in France. In this vineyard, love and passion for wine are passed from father to son. The estate originally founded by François SCHWACH that from 1950, bought the first parcels of vines that will gradually form the beautiful grounds today. In 1960 he sold his first production and since then the field has continued each year to present some beautiful wines. In 1975, Philippe took over the management of the company. It promotes its influence by enlarging the area by purchasing new plots and realizing modernization investments; this reflects the quality requirement, brand of SCHWACH production. Today is the third generation in the person of Sebastian, who is poised to continue this tradition, nourished expertise and passion. Domaine SCHWACH is primarily a family business whose word is Respect: • Product Compliance and Consumer by the will to always improve quality. The results are visible as wines and sparkling wines are annually prominently in the Guide Hachette and many other wine books. • Respect for the environment to preserve a wine heritage that makes the wealth of future generations. Thus, the field is strongly committed to a respectful and sustainable cultivation. The vineyard covers 20 hectares goshawks of seven towns in the heart of Alsace wines of Hunawihr where the winery is located, Zellenberg, Ribeauvillé, Bergheim, Beblenheim, Riquewihr and Ammerschwihr. The vineyard consists of unique terroirs including four Grands Crus (Osterberg, Schoenenbourg Rosacker or Kaefferkopf) who deliver wine displaying all the qualities and nuances of sunlight, a geology and exceptional microclimate.
