The winemaker

Domaine Louis Sipp started his wine business at the end of the First World War with Louis Sipp, its founder. Domaine Louis Sipp now has about 40 hectares of vineyards whose own 4 of the Grands Crus Kirchberg and Osterberg in Alsace. It's Etienne Sipp, representing the fourth generation, who presides over the family property since 1996. In an effort to enhance the quality, typicality and fine wines, he undertakes improvements both in the vineyard and in the cellars: working in organic vines and strict control of yields, modernize the grape reception system in order to respect the integrity of the fruit (by pressing whole grapes), improved traceability for a wine for every terroir.   Today a team of 20 people working at the Domaine Louis Sipp to make wines that are the expression of the vineyard from Ribeauvillé, Alsace and Alsace Grand Cru wines who can flatter the taste buds of fans around the world.
